let it snow!
Yeah, I wasn’t feeling well yesterday, and I fell asleep before I could post anything. But this is the general idea of what I was going to post:
I had a pretty crappy day. I came home, and Brian’s (did I mention we have another houseguest?) daughter Olivia was over. Olivia is 7. She is also full of awesome. And then it started to snow, and the combination of the two was BOUND to make my day better.
Olivia ran outside barefoot; I made her put my slippers on, because every now and then I display a little bit of adult-like responsibility. Heh. Then I threw on my sweatshirt and clogs and joined her. (Brian, maybe a little smarter than we are, stayed inside where it’s warm and took pictures through the door.)
We’re very hard at work!
The fruits of our labor: one very tiny snowman.
Olivia is wicked cute. If I ever get around to having kids, I hope I’m lucky enough to end up with one as fabulous as she is.

I love kids at that age. They are still curious and fun to hang around.
heh! You should come hang out at my choir rehearsals on Wednesday night. I have 19 kids between the ages of 5 and 7. They are *all* cute (some more than others) and (most) of them are full of awesomeness!
You should get around to having kids so I can knit stuff for you!
